| Scott
founded the company in 1998 after spending 21 years
in the airline industry. He spent 17 years at American
Airlines and four years at Qantas Airways where he was
the Manager of Business Development for the Americas.
He received a B.A. in Business Management from the University
of Redlands.
Scott was the person that nonprofit organizations
sent letters to requesting airline tickets for their
fundraisers. He received literally hundreds of letters
a week and he saw a real need to educate the nonprofit
world on just exactly what an airline or big-ticket
donor was looking for in their letters. Scott and his
wife, Maria, volunteered and worked with numerous charities
throughout the country and have been conducting silent
auctions for over fifteen years.
Scott embraced the passion that the volunteers and
Board Members displayed while working with them. He
developed the concept and business plan for Silent Partners
with the desire to help those less fortunate raise additional
funds for their deserving causes.
